平日里容易心绪压抑的人,这条黄金线摸起来会发硬,按上去酸胀感明显;
脾胃运化偏弱、代谢容易滞缓的人,足部酸胀区域按压不适感更强;

1. 双手固定脚踝两侧,依靠身体自重缓慢向下按压,一路推至阴陵泉;
2. 大腿内侧双手交叠大面积推刮黄金线,慢慢软化僵硬条索;
- 舒展经络、软化僵硬:由下往上顺着黄金线缓慢推刮;

Long-term mental tension, being bogged down by trivial matters, and frequent feelings of frustration or suppression often lead to unstable metabolic states in many people.
Many people focus only on external lifestyle adjustments while neglecting the mutual influence between emotions, the Spleen and Stomach, and internal constitution.
In traditional wellness philosophy, prolonged emotional suppression easily affects the comfort of the Spleen and Stomach; when their transformative functions are poor, metabolism tends to slow down, leading to a decline in internal health and recurring physical and mental discomfort.
Today, I am sharing an extended "Golden Line" meridian soothing massage technique. By gently relaxing the three Yin meridians along the inner leg, you can soothe the body and mind, nourish your internal state, and gently regulate your constitution—all without extra tools, using only your hands at home.
Note: Pregnant women are prohibited from performing this!
I. The wellness logic behind this Golden Line soothing techniqueThe maintenance line along the inner lower and upper leg is often called the "Golden Line." It gathers the pathways of the Spleen, Liver, and Kidney meridians. Sanyinjiao point is located where the Qi and blood of these three meridians converge, acting as a transfer station that harmonizes the body's overall Qi and blood.
For those who are often emotionally suppressed, this Golden Line will feel hard to the touch and show obvious soreness or distension when pressed.
For those with weak Spleen and Stomach function or sluggish metabolism, the discomfort in the sore areas of the feet will be even more intense.
For those with a weak constitution or who fatigue easily, the muscles and tendons behind the ankles will feel stiff and tight.
Persistently and gently massaging these stiff areas relieves physical tension, helping to soothe the frustration and low mood caused by daily stress, while also gently easing sluggish metabolic issues; relaxing one area helps harmonize discomfort throughout the body.
II. Complete operating steps for the extended Golden Line(For specific operations, please watch the video at the beginning of the article.)
Always start with the left foot, maintain a slow and gentle pressure throughout, and linger longer on areas with obvious soreness or distension.
1. Starting point on the foot: Yinbai → Dadou → Gongsun
Starting from the Yinbai point (the origin of the Spleen meridian), gently press along the inner side of the foot through the Dadou and Gongsun points. The area around the Gongsun point is prone to soreness; those with sluggish metabolism will feel this more acutely. Use repeated circular motions to help soothe the tension in Spleen and Stomach function.

2. Massage the muscles behind the inner ankle (Taixi tendon) to gently nourish the constitution.
Moving up the foot to the inner ankle, use your fingers to hook between the tip of the inner ankle and the muscles behind it, gently massaging the tendons horizontally. This area is often stiff in those who are chronically fatigued or have a weak constitution; frequent massage can gently nourish the interior and strengthen the body's foundation.
3. Sanyinjiao: Where Qi and blood converge to harmonize the body's state.
Find Sanyinjiao moving up from the ankle, where the Qi and blood of the three Yin meridians meet. Apply moderate pressure and pause for a moment to smooth the flow of Qi and blood, simultaneously soothing the mind, softening the Spleen and Stomach, and nourishing the internal constitution.
4. Key soothing areas of the lower leg: Soreness belt → Diji → Yinlingquan
The entire area from the inner ankle to Yinlingquan is prone to soreness. Moving up, find the Diji point—a very practical spot for soothing sluggish metabolic function—and press or rub it repeatedly. Finally, reach Yinlingquan to gently soothe discomfort caused by blockages and relieve the heavy feeling in the Spleen and Stomach. This completes the Golden Line operation for the foot and lower leg.
5. Extended segment: Inner thigh to Ququan
After finishing the lower leg, extend the Golden Line up to the inner thigh and find the Ququan point. You can feel distinct tendons under the skin; use your fingers to hook and slowly massage them. Slowly push and press along the entire inner thigh; those with significant internal stagnation will feel patches of hardness, which should be massaged and softened bit by bit.
6. Focus on soothing the groin area
The groin is a vital passage for Qi and blood. Long-term emotional suppression and poor circulation easily lead to the accumulation of stiff "cords" here. You can gently massage, pat, or use mild scraping to stretch this area. Clearing the Qi and blood here reduces recurring physical and mental discomfort and prevents emotional distress from continuously affecting the Spleen and Stomach.
III. Effort-saving techniques for those with less hand strengthIf your hand strength is insufficient, you can use small tools. You don't need to press hard; use your body weight to operate along this Golden Line. Using auxiliary tools makes the process easier.
1. Fix both hands on either side of the ankle, use your body weight to press slowly, and push all the way to Yinlingquan.
2. Use overlapping hands to push and scrape the Golden Line on the inner thigh over a large area, slowly softening stiff cords.
3. For the groin, use one hand or overlap both hands to press and soothe deep-seated tension.
Two directions of pushing/scraping have different effects:
- To stretch meridians and soften stiffness: Push and scrape slowly from bottom to top along the Golden Line.
- To clear overall blockages and discomfort: Gently guide from top toward the groin to help relieve accumulated heaviness.
The goal of daily maintenance: The entire Golden Line should feel free of obvious soreness or sharp pain when pressed, the skin and flesh should be soft and elastic, stiff cords should gradually dissipate, and Qi and blood should flow smoothly, relieving physical and mental tension and metabolic sluggishness.
IV. Precautions during menstruationThis Golden Line massage technique involves deep pressure and stimulates the flow of Qi and blood throughout the body. If your menstrual cycle and flow are very regular, it is recommended to pause during your period to avoid increased flow and disrupting the body's natural rhythm.
If you often experience lower abdominal heaviness, light flow, or poor discharge during your period, you may use very light pressure for simple soothing. For a small number of people, short-term fluctuations may occur after long-term maintenance; this is a normal sign of the body self-regulating its Qi and blood. Persist with gentle daily care, and your menstrual state will gradually stabilize; there is no need for excessive worry.
High daily stress, frustration, and sluggish metabolism are mostly caused by poor circulation of Qi and blood and an imbalance in internal constitution.
This extended Golden Line addresses multiple physical and mental soothing needs in one go. It is simple, easy to perform by hand, and with long-term persistence, it can soothe emotions, relieve frustration, gently regulate Spleen and Stomach function, and alleviate discomfort caused by metabolic sluggishness. Come and give it a try!
